I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Barcelo in Funchal, and I must say, it exceeded my high expectations in every way. The rooftop pool and terrace offered stunning views that became the perfect backdrop for my evenings, while the room's flat-screen TV and comfortable beds—with not just one, but three varied pillows—ensured restful nights after long days of exploring. The air conditioning was exceptionally quiet and effective, allowing me to enjoy my stay in comfort. the breakfast spread was impressive, featuring a delightful variety of options to start the day right. I left with a strong desire to return, knowing that this hotel sets a new standard for my future accommodations.
